Skradinski Buk is a picturesque waterfall and swimming pool - the most popular natural and tourist attraction of the Krka National Park. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, which is a beautiful setting for crystal clear water that overflows with the main cascade and numerous smaller gorges. There are numerous fish in the depths that can be observed directly under the feet from the footbridges surrounding the waterfall.
An extremely popular swimming pool has been arranged in this idyllic setting. In its vicinity there are numerous gastronomic points offering delicacies of the local cuisine and grilled dishes. The swimming pool, or rather an extensive, shallow paddling pool with a rocky bottom, provides refreshment and the opportunity to spend the whole day surrounded by wild nature.
Being in Skradinski Buk you can also visit other attractions of the Krka National Park. The most interesting of them is the island on Lake Visovac with the fifteenth-century Franciscan monastery rising there, as well as nineteenth-century water mills and a former hydroelectric power plant.
