Šunj Beach is a beach on the small island of Lopud (with an area of less than 5 km2), valued primarily because of the picturesque location (sheltered from the wind, perfectly sunny, with a view of the open sea), expanse and sandy, very gently sloping bottom (shallow pulls 100 m from the beach). It is a perfect place for rest, water and sunbathing for families with small children.
Šunj Beach is surrounded by forests with walking paths. There are numerous bars and restaurants right on the beach. The only city on the island, called Lopud, is 20 minutes away. walk from the beach or a few minutes drive by one of the easily accessible meleks.
The easiest way to get to the island of Lopud and Šunj Beach is from the port of Dubrovnik. The 14-kilometer route can be covered in a water taxi, ferry, speedboat.
