Stadtpark is a city park in Vienna. The park's total area is 65,000 square meters, which is divided into two parts by the Wienfluss River. Statues of famous Viennese artists, writers and composers, including Hans Canon, Emil Jakob Schindler, Johan Strauss II, Franz Schubert and Anton Bruckner are scattered throughout the square.
The most important building in the Central Park is Kursalon Hübnerna, the Vienna concert hall opened in 1867. Its wide terrace open to the park is the site of popular waltz concerts. The green heart of Vienna is characterized by a wide spectrum of plant species, in the park's garden you can find, among others: ginkgo biloba, three-thornweed, Canadian poplar, and Caucasian walnut. The well-kept garden with a picturesque pond full of birds is the perfect zone to relax and enjoy the peace.
