Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum, Silver Collection

Part of the Hofburg Imperial Castle open to tourists. In the imperial apartments you can see the private rooms of Franz Josef II and his wife Elizabeth of Bavaria with bedrooms, living rooms and a study.

The Sisi Museum, in turn, is an attempt to face the Empress legend and her colorful figure. You can see here, among others costumes reconstruction, coat, which covered her corpse after the assassination, make-up kit and numerous portraits.

Tableware and porcelain used at the imperial court were collected in the Silver Chamber. The exhibition also shows how the table covering looked and how it looks on various occasions.
