Haus des Meeres Aqua Terra Zoo is a sea aquarium in Vienna, which has more than ten thousand water creatures on an area of about 4,000 square meters. Visitors can walk through a 10-meter glazed Atlantic tunnel through a 500,000-liter tank, in which animals such as humpback fish, orleid fish, crayfish, jellyfish, mustached shark and sea turtle live. In the remaining oceanarium pools, the most predatory fish in the world swim: dark sharks, white-and-shark, bamboo, hammerhead sharks and piranhas.
An additional attraction between the 9th and 10th floor is the exhibition "Erinnern im Innern" dedicated to the history of the Flak tower, built during World War II. An external staircase leads to the roof of the 35-meter tower, where a viewing terrace was erected, from which an amazing view of the city panorama extends.
