Windsor Great Park

The green area of over 2000 hectares has been fully entered in the register of British historic parks and gardens. The area is owned by the British Crown and in the past was the private hunting ground of Windsor Castle. The park has a two-mile avenue of plane trees and chestnuts leading to the equestrian statue of George III.
