Dinton Pastures Country Park
The park covers 180 hectares of forests, groves and riverside meadows. These were areas cultivated by Anglo-Saxons in the early Middle Ages. Later, gravel deposits were intensively exploited here. Ponds were built on former excavations. Their shores are inhabited by numerous water birds. There are platforms for previewing them.
