Dartmoor Zoo

The zoo founded in 1968 was run by Ellis Dawa, who added many animals to the collection, including lions, tigers, jaguars and pumas. After the garden was closed, the area was bought by the Mee family, which continued the tradition of the first owner. The zoo has over 70 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
