Bushy Park

Bushy Park is a royal park located in London. In terms of size, it ranks second in the capital of Great Britain, occupying 445 hectares. We'll find him north of the historic Hampton Court Palace. Most of the park is open to visitors.

Interestingly, according to archaeological research, human activity in the territory of today's Bushy Park has been recorded for 4000 years. In fact, all this time there were agricultural areas. It was not until 1529 that the park became the property of King Henry VIII and was transformed into a hunting park. To this day we can meet deer and fallow deer here. Several attractions were added by the king's successors in later years: the 19-kilometer Longford River canal or Chestnut Avenue. Today, Bushy Park is an oasis of sports clubs, it also has fishing grounds, wildlife conservation areas, allotments, cottages and shelters, as well as a cafe and water gardens.
