Kensington High Street
Kensington High Street is a major shopping street in the Kensington District of London. It belongs to thirty-five major centers in Greater London. The street stretches from Kensington Palace up to Hammersmith Road. In addition to boutiques, restaurants and bars, there is also a large part of the British music industry.
The street has been a popular commercial place since the 19th century. At first, there were classic department stores: Barkers of Kensington, Derry & Toms and Pontings. Today we will find boutiques of famous high-end brands or antique stores. Kensington High Street is also home to London's largest organic store: Whole Foods Market.
When planning a trip to Kensington High Street, we can combine it with visiting places such as Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, Leighton House Museum or Linley Sambourne Family Home.
