Little Ben Clock
Little Ben is a miniature clock tower made of cast iron. Located at the intersection of Vauxhall Bridge Road and Victoria Street in central London. Her appearance is associated with the famous clock tower commonly known as Big Ben in the Palace of Westminster, which is located at the other end of Victoria Street. This is where the name Little Ben comes from.
Little Ben was produced by Gillett and Johnston from Croydon and erected in 1892. In the sixties of the twentieth century, it was removed, then restored and again put on the street in 1981. His restaurant was then financed by the French fuel group Elf Aquitaine Ltd, which was supposed to be a "gesture of Franco-British friendship."
A Little Ben replica called Lorloz was erected in 1903 in the center of Victoria, the capital of Seychelles, to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
