The City Of London Police Museum

The City of London Police Museum is dedicated to the police and its history. The collected collections include uniforms, Victorian era police equipment and communication devices. Separate exhibitions are devoted to the destruction of the city during air raids during World War II and to Jack the Ripper and other known killers.

In November 2016, the museum moved to the building formerly used by the Clockmaking Museum, next to the Guildhall Library. The new museum was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, which was £ 90,000.

The City of London police have been responsible for guarding the Square Mile since 1839. For over 175 years, the priorities of the forces have remained the same: take care of the city's security. It is also the leading British police for fraud and economic crime.
