Haggerston Park
Haggerston Park is located in the municipality of Hackney in the so-called Inner London. It houses a small nature reserve and sports facilities. There are football, basketball and handball pitches, tennis courts and table tennis table. A BMX track and playground for children were also marked out. One of the main attractions is the Hackney City Farm operating in the park.
Haggerston Park was founded in the 1950s in areas destroyed during World War II by bombing. Thirty years later, it was expanded and expanded. Currently, it covers an area of about 6 hectares, with the northern part protected and the southern part mainly for entertainment. The park received the Green Flag Award, i.e. the so-called Green Flag, awarded for caring for green areas and nature.
