Walpole Park

Walpole Park is one of the most important parks located in the west of London. It includes the Pitzhanger Manor museum and art gallery, as well as the historic Perceval Lodge, which hosts artistic events. There are two ponds where mallard ducks swim. You can also see the historic, decorative bridge built according to the design of John Soane.

Every year several festivals are organized in the park, including Ealing Opera in the Park, Ealing Comedy Festival and Ealing Jazz Festival. At the beginning of July, the Ealing Beer Festival also lasts for several days.

Originally, the mansion in the park belonged to Soane, who bought it in 1800. Then the property changed owners several times. Until 1984, the building housed a public library, and after its transfer, work was undertaken to restore the appearance of the garden and buildings to that of Soane's time.
