Wellcome Collection

Wellcome Collection is a museum of the history of medicine with an extensive professional library. You can see medical exhibits and works of art whose leitmotif is the combination of medicine, art and everyday life. There are two permanent exhibitions of "Medicine Man" and "Medicine Now", where you can see part of Sir Wellcome's collection and various aspects of modern medicine. The largest part of the museum is occupied by the "Exhibition space", where temporary exhibitions are organized.

In the main room, apart from exhibitions, there are also cultural events. The Reading Room, which is a combination of a library and a gallery, has been open since 2015. Various celebrations also sometimes take place there.

The Wellcome Collection is part of the Wellcome Trust, which was founded by Sir Henry Solomon Wellcome. He was a traveler who collected a huge collection of books, paintings and other items related to the history of world medicine.
