Colchester Castle Park

Colchester Castle Park lies northeast of the city center. The Roman wall cuts it from east to west into two parts: Park Górny and Park Dolny. The Upper Park houses, among others Castle Museum, Hollytrees Museum, cafe, playground and historic stage. There is a cricket pitch in the Lower Park. In addition, the park also has an inflatable castle for children and a lake on which you can ride a boat.

Numerous benches were set up in the park. There are also picnic places here. Until 2012 it was forbidden to ride a bike here, but now there is a marked bicycle path here.

Colchester Castle Park covers an area of 11 hectares. It is on the second place in the "English register of parks and gardens of special historical importance".
