SS Nomadic Ship

SS Nomadic is a former support ship built to transport passengers and mail to the RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic decks. Currently, it is the last surviving ship of the White Star Line company. Restored, it serves as a historical museum in Hamilton Dock Belfast. When visiting, you can feel like a passenger from the early twentieth century and see the differences in the appearance of decks and cabins for different social classes. There are various exhibitions here, including interactive ones.

The ship is 70 meters long and 11 meters wide, and its tonnage is close to 1300 tonnes. It has a steel structure, steel frames, beams and bulkheads, as well as riveted hull plating. There are four decks on it. Once, when fully loaded, it could carry up to a thousand passengers. The ship was divided into first and second class passenger zones, with first class passengers in the forward areas of the ship. A small area on the stern of the lower deck was intended for the poorest third-class passengers.
