Interlaken Castle

Local name: Schloss Interlaken

The castle was built in the first half. Eighteenth century as the seat of the Bernese governor and to this day performs this function. The fortress was built on the ruins of the 12th century Augustinian monastery. In 2009, the castle was completely restored.
