The largest glacier in the Alps is about 27 billion tons of ice. This natural monument is located in a protected area, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can reach the top of the glacier by taking the cable car. Nearby is the historic Villa Cassel, the former summer residence of many well-known and influential guests from the world of politics and finance.
