Cartoon Museum Basel

The museum was founded 1979 and is fully dedicated to the history of fairy tales, parodies, comics and caricatures. The gallery is the only one of its kind within a radius of 500 kilometers. Covering approximately 3,000 original works by over 700 artists from the 20th and 21st centuries. Works of art come from over thirty countries and are shown in thematic temporary exhibitions.
