The museum is the oldest and still the most active institution of contemporary art in Switzerland. It is famous for thought-provoking presentations, new works of art and presentation methods, as well as a wide range of public programs, including conversations with artists, performances and film screenings. The museum also has a library, bookstore and photo archive.
