School Museum
Local name: Skolmuseum
The Helsingborgs Skolmuseum is housed in the building of a former folk school. Here you can see how classrooms and other school rooms looked like years ago. The school, which today houses the museum, was established in the 1860s. The original interior has been reconstructed on 300 m², with desks for students and a teacher's station. The collected exhibits come from various periods, some of them are gifts donated by private persons.
The school museum also organizes temporary exhibitions. Until now, you could see here, incl. exhibition entitled "School in the past and now", "Sports at the school in Helsingborg" and "Helsingborg in 1866".
