Färjestaden is a holiday village in Öland. In its vicinity there are sandy beaches, and relaxation is enhanced by an amusement park.

The attractions of Färjestaden focus on spending time by the water. There are three sandy beaches in the area, Bläsinge Beach, Borgmästarviken Beach and Prästviksbadet Beach. The only entertainment complex on the island, the Zoo and the Öland Amusement Park, is also waiting for tourists. It is a center for family rest and recreation. In the zoo you can see animals from all over the world, including tigers, various species of monkeys and lions, while in the amusement park you can go crazy on carousels, queues and in the water park.
There are also some interesting sights in the vicinity of the village. There are the remains of Gråborg Castle, dating back to the 5th century, and the ruins of the Sankt Knuts chapel.
