Tránsito Synagogue

Local name: Sinagoga del Tránsito

The synagogue is famous for its rich stucco decoration, which is compared to the Alcazar palaces in Seville and the Alhambra palaces in Granada. It was built around 1356 and served until the expulsion of Jews from the city. At that time it was renamed the Catholic temple. Now the building is a national monument and inside is the Sephardic museum.
