The temple from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries is a representative example of the so-called Isabelian style (from the name of the Spanish Queen, Isabella I Catholic) - late Gothic, extremely decorative architectural form. The church was built to commemorate the battle of Toro (1476) and the birth of Prince Don Juan (1478).
