El Capricho Park covers an area of 14 hectares. On its territory you can see, among others sculptures and buildings referring to ancient architecture and art, and the oldest iron bridge in Spain. There are many elements characteristic of romantic gardens, e.g. a maze, a hermit's house and a beautiful lake.
The historic bridge was built like the Venetian bridges, from it you can admire the view of the river and the greenery growing on its banks. The sight of visitors is drawn to the eksedra built on the so-called Emperors Square. It is a semicircular colonnade with stone benches, surrounded by sphinx statues.
The park was founded in a romantic style at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries on the order of Princess Osuna - Maria Josefa de la Soledad. According to his assumptions, there is a lack of symmetry, the space is dominated by wildlife.
