The monastery belonging to the Carthusian order is a monument of Gothic architecture entered in the official register. It was built in the 15th century and is famous for valuable works of sacred art, including from the altar created by the Castilian sculptor Gil de Siloe with the polychrome of Diego de la Cruz.
