Islet and Hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe

A small church was built on a rocky island at an altitude of 80 m above sea level in the eleventh century. To get to it, you need to cross a stone bridge with 231 steps leading up the hill. From the chapel you can observe the nearby Aketxe rock, which is a nature reserve.
