Muhba el Call is a museum dedicated to the history of the Jewish community in Barcelona. An interesting exhibition has been gathered here, which consists of objects discovered during archaeological excavations, including antique everyday objects such as dishes with Hebrew inscriptions. Matzevot, traditional tombstones, can also be seen here. The museum organizes educational walks around the Jewish quarter.
The museum's activities also include lectures and workshops aimed at familiarizing visitors with the culture of Catalan Jews. Guests can take part, for example, in tasting traditional dishes.
The name "El Call" referred to the district that Jews lived in in medieval times. In the museum you can see the plan of this part of the city, many archival documents have been collected here. The museum was founded in 2005.
