The Greek Theater Park is located at the bottom of the Montjuic hill. It was marked out on the occasion of the 1929 world exhibition. A replica of the Greek theater was built there, where today cultural events and performances take place. The garden also has a pergola, a rosarium and a viewing point.
Montjuic was used for recreational purposes before the World Exhibition in 1929. A set of thematic and landscape gardens was created at that time. One of them was the Greek Theater Park. On the slopes of the hill, in the former quarries, a replica of the Athens Epiduro Theater was created. It is surrounded by formed low trees, including orange trees, oaks and palm trees. A pergola and a rose garden nearby are a popular choice. Although the park is located quite low, from the observation deck you can watch nice panoramas of the area.
