Peix Olímpic Frank Gehry, or El Peix d'Or (Golden Fish) is a giant structure towering over the seaside promenade in the capital of Catalonia. Its creator was the famous Canadian architect - Frank Gehry. The fish was created on the occasion of the Summer Olympic Games, which were held in Barcelona in 1992.

At its highest point, the construction reaches 54 meters. The surface changes color depending on the lighting, it consists of small metal plates that reflect the sun's rays and sparkle with different colors.
"Golden Fish" is a showcase of the area and a great landmark. It was set between the two tallest buildings in Barcelona - Torre Mapfre and Hotel Arts.

Gehry is known for his work around the world. Together with Vlado Milunić he created the project "Dancing House" in Prague. He is also the author of the Guggenheim Museum project in Bilbao.
