Collserola Tower is the tallest building in Barcelona. It is located on the ridge of the mountain range of the same name, which closes the panorama of the city from the north-west. The relay tower was built in 1992. In addition to the broadcast antennas, there is also a viewing terrace.
The tower was built in preparation for the Olympic Games in 1992. It was designed by Norman Foster. It consists of a mast and 13 metal triangle-shaped platforms around it. There are transmitting antennas on them. The tower is 288 meters high, which makes it the tallest building in Barcelona. At 560 m above sea level, there is a viewing terrace from which you can admire the city and its surroundings, including the famous Montserrat Mountain.
