National Museum of Contemporary History

The facility was founded in 1963 to collect and disseminate Celje's cultural heritage from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. You can see here, among others an exhibition on dentistry, a reconstruction of a nineteenth-century photo studio and a memorial room for victims of Nazi terror. The museum also has a special zone for children.
