Uhrovec Castle

The thirteenth-century stronghold was erected on an inaccessible hill at an altitude of 591 m above sea level. As a result of legal disputes in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, the castle was not renovated, and in the eighteenth century it was abandoned and fell into ruin. Currently, the castle is under the care of the Foundation for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
