The statue of Paweł Orszagh Hviezdoslav (Socha Pavla Orszagh Hviezdoslav) stands on Hviezdoslavovo square in the center of Bratislava. It presents the most important poet of the Slovak turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, a co-creator of Slovak literature, Paweł Orszagh, who adopted the pseudonym Hviezdoslav.
The monument by Vojtech Ihriský and Jozef Pospíšilv was erected on Hviezdoslavovo námestie in 1937. It depicts a poet sitting on a stone and writing something in an open book. Next to it is a small fountain. The square is planted with trees and is surrounded by tenement houses from the beginning of the 20th century.
