Monument to Fallen Soldiers
Local name: Pamätník padlým vojakom
The Soldier Monument stands above the Danube, in the vicinity of the Old Town. It depicts a soldier with a pepsie supporting his dying companion. The inscription on the monument says that whoever sacrifices his life for his homeland never dies.
The monument is kept in the style of socialist realism. The inscription engraved on the pedestal dedicated to partisans who died for the independence of their country.
