Local name: Televízna veža na Kamzíku
Kamzik is a hill with a height of 439 m above sea level, located on the outskirts of Bratislava in the Little Carpathians. At its top is a television tower, in which a restaurant with a panoramic view of the Slovak capital operates. The hill is a popular destination for trips. There are many walking paths here. You can also reach the summit by cable car from Zelezna Studienka.
The current TV tower was built on Kamzik in 1970. From the panoramic restaurant you can admire the panorama of the area, and in good weather also the peaks of the Alps. At the top there are also monuments dedicated to soldiers killed in the Austrian Prussian War in 1866 and the Victoria of 1683.
The slopes of the hill are covered with beech forests. There are hiking and cycling routes here. In winter, there is a ski lift, ski slope and bobsleigh track. Several hotels and a campsite were built in the area.
