Minaret of the Grand Mosque of Constanța

The minaret of the Grand Mosque in Constana was built in 1910-1913. Although the adjacent mosque is built in Neo-Byzantine and Neo-Egyptian styles, the architecture of the minaret is dominated by the neo-Moorish style. The building is 47 m high, of which the internal dimensions of the dome are 25 m high and 8 m in diameter. Stairs consisting of 140 steps lead to the top of the minaret, where the muezzin's apartment is located.
