Rock formations cover the northwestern part of the Postavaru massif and are adjacent to the Stejerișul Mare nature reserve. You can watch here, among others karst phenomena and limestone rocks. A small stream flows here, forming several waterfalls, and a natural source beats on a steep slope. Walking and climbing routes have also been marked out and picnic areas have been marked out.
On the rocks, deer, wild boars, lynxes, foxes and squirrels can be found. Many species of birds live here, including larks, blackbirds, hazel grouse, wagtail and oriole. Vegetation is characteristic of the Eastern Carpathians. Firs, oaks, pines, ash and beeches grow here, as well as numerous shrubs, herbs and flowers.
According to local legend, the name of the rocks comes from the name of the Hungarian king, Solomon, who lived in the 11th century. The monarch was to flee this way on horseback from persecutors. He managed to jump over the gap between the rocks, while the people chasing him fell into her and died on the spot.
