Being in Porto, you should be tempted by the attraction almost almost unique in the world - a walk with a guide around the arch of the Arrábida bridge. It is the only such bridge in Europe. There are only three more in the world - in Sydney and Brisbane in Australia and in Auckland in New Zealand. The walk lasts about 30 minutes and is completely safe (the arch is 8 meters wide, and visitors are secured with ropes and harnesses).
The arch of the Arrábida Bridge was opened to visitors in 2016. This attraction was closed for almost 53 years. Today, in addition to strong impressions (such a passage, even with security, provides a powerful dose of adrenaline), a trip around the arch of the Arrábida Bridge also offers a unique, beautiful panorama of the city. Climbing takes place in stages, so it is not difficult and does not require any special condition. The entrance to the attraction is located on the northern bank of the Duero River.
