The Cerca da Graca Garden is located on the slopes of the hill, below the Church of Grace in Lisbon. This is a new park, opened in 2015. It covers an area of 1.7 ha. The alleys lead gently down the slopes. About 200 trees and bushes grow here. There are also pergolas, benches and a kiosk with drinks and sweets.
Graca Hill is one of the main viewpoints of Lisbon. Its slopes for a long time were inaccessible to tourists, due to their use by the military. At the turn of the twentieth and twenty-first century, there were changes in this area that allowed their development.
The garden was opened in 2015. It offers a magnificent view of the oldest part of Lisbon and Saint George's Castle. The park's vegetation comes primarily from the Mediterranean climate zone. Palm trees, conifers, orange trees and numerous bushes grow here. The garden is still in growth, hence the shadow can be found only in a few places.
