Footbridges of the Ria de Aveiro

A system of walking routes led on special wooden mocks above the backwaters of the Ria de Aveiro estuary. It was created in order to make natural backwaters being a habitat for many species of water and marsh birds more fully available to residents and tourists. From the piers you can view the local avifauna and admire the beautiful views of the estuary.
