The oldest church in Aveiro. The cathedral is located in the former Dominican monastery church erected in the first half of the 15th century. It is a single-nave stone building with a facade decorated with a large entrance portal and topped with a stone cross. Next to it stands a massive bell tower. The interior is mainly furnished in the Baroque style.
