Szczytnicki Park

Local name: Park Szczytnicki

English-style Szczytnicki Park in Wrocław covers the area of 100ha. It was established in the 18th century. Its area consists of many attractions and valuable monuments such as Japanese Garden, the complex of Centennial Hall, an astrological observatory and the Jan Nepomucen Church from the turn of the 18th century. The monuments are available for visits.

The park also contains the Multimedia Fountain where music-light shows can be watched, and monumental Pergola with 750 columns. The Discovery Centre and Plastic Panorama of Old Lviv are organized in Centennial Hall.

Japanese Garden was established here at the beginning of the 20th century as part of the garden exposition for the Centennial Exhibition. It was renovated in the 1990s. It combines features of traditional Japanese gardens - water and public, among others. There are also original stone decorations from Japan. Visitors can admire many Japanese plant species.
