The area between the National Museum and Polish Hill where the former City Moat had been flowing into the Oder, is an ideal place to relax and spend a weekend actively. Enthusiasts of river trips can rent a kayak or rowing boat at the harbor. Motorboats are also available and can be rented without any permissions.
The shore of Gondola Bay was thoroughly prepared, reinforced and adapted for mooring of cruise ships in the 19th century. In the interwar period, the harbor was closed. It was reopened after the rebuilt in 2007. The bay is the first of many objects of that type which make the so-called Gondola Path promoting active tourism. The rental is opened 7 days a week.Less
