Racławice Panorama

The unique museum of art as the only one in Poland presents the relict of the 19th-century mass culture - the large painting made by many artists working in cooperation. This painting is "Battle of Racławice" from 1894.

The painting's dimensions are 1500x11400 cm - no wonder that the place of its exposition is called the Racławice Panorama. Lovers of art visiting the place can get an impression that they look at the panorama of Racławice - the painting surrounds a viewer from almost every side.

Creation of this amazing piece of art is a fruit of work of the best painters: Jan Styka, Wojciech Kossak, Ludwig Boller, Tadeusz Popiel, Zygmunt Rozwadowski, Teodor Axentowicz, Michał Sozański, Włodzimierz Tetmajer, and Wincenty Wodzinowski. The oil painting was made for a year.
