Mamutowa Cave
Local name: Jaskinia Mamutowa
Mamutowa Cave, also known as Lower Wierzchowska, is located in the village of Wierzchowie, in the Kluczwoda Valley. It is a spacious karst cave, with a large main hall and corridors branching off from it. It is open to tourists.
The cave took its name from the mammoth remains found here. Traces of prehistoric man's life were also found here. In addition to tourists, the cave is often visited by speleologists and climbers, for whom very difficult climbing routes in the vault have been marked out.
