Collections museum both extensive collection of memorabilia and documents depicting the history of the university, science and education in Torun, as well as artefacts of exceptional historical and cultural value, and many other exhibits of universal respect. The core of the collection are the works of Polish artists living outside the country in the twentieth century, painters and sculptors from Toruń and Vilnius. The main emphasis collection is located on art-related wileńskimi and plastic toruńskimi schools and the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus. At the exhibition you can also see the test equipment and laboratory equipment used in the laboratories of the university since 1945. Museum serves as a research facility, so its collections have also didactic dimension and are designed to serve students as a source of historical knowledge, scientific and cultural. The museum building is Collegium Maximum UMK.
