The exposition of the open-air museum is a two-part presentation consisting of a complete homestead with buildings and a collection of barges adapted to the function of living. Visiting is only possible in groups of 10 people.
Among the typical Chełmno rural architecture you can see the original hut from the 18th century, as well as the barn, the barn, the shed and the shed on the boats. In the second part of the open-air museum there are lakeside hikes, fishing huts, Fordon and Toruń Vineyard barges, and Jan ferry, which until 1993 was still operating on Nogat.
Under the roofs of the canyons you can see a boat of old sandpits, extracting gravel from the river bed. Exhibits are directly related to the work of fishermen and fishermen. The 23 m long and 7.5 m wide hut in the residential part of the open-air museum was owned by the wealthy Wilmanowicz family. Other buildings located in the areas where the original buildings existed let us know the nature of typical buildings from that period.
