The building of this puppet theater looks like a large wooden wardrobe. There are plays designed mainly for children, although repertoires also include performances for adults. The theater uses modern multimedia techniques.
The origins of the facility date back to 1945, when the first director was Irena Pikiel Samorewiczowa. In 1946 the theater already had a building at ul. Piernikarska 9, formerly owned by the German Castle Theater. In this beautifully located place, in the Old Town complex, the Theater is still operating today. In 2005, the theater was modernized, thanks to which the building gained a new, great look and functionality. The innovative architectural design of Baja Pomorski enjoys great recognition among architects and artists.Less
